Annexation of Sullust and other news

Earlier today, the Sullustan Council has signed a treaty with the Sith Empire, officially acknowledging Imperial rule. As you remember, yesterday the Sith Fleet has attacked the system, effortlessly scattering what defenses the sullustans could muster. However Emperor Lavey has given the Council a chance to negotiate peace, thus sparing countless lives.

“As a matter of fact.” Claims President Ningo. “This is beneficial for our world and our people. Sure, we cannot trade with the Republic as we used to, but the starships produced by our shipyards are in high demand, and I assure you that Sullust will continue thrive as it always has.”

However the celebrations across the Empire were cut short by the news of Darth Blaze’s death. Unfortunately our reporters could not gather any specific information, as the Sith are rather tight-lipped and refuse to disclose details of Lord Blaze’s death.
“It is a painful loss for the Order and the Empire as a whole.” Said Darth Mortis, the current Grand Inquisitor of the Empire. “But this is war, and it is not the time to mourn. He lived as a warrior and he died as a warrior. Rest assured, the Emperor will appoint the new leader of the Royal Guard soon. And the whole Galaxy will see, that the Sith remain strong.”
